Recently, we added
a new page to our website to feature
our Training program based in Sikhote-Alin Research Center, Terney, Primorski
krai, Russia. Our
traininings and workshops are developed for wildlife researchers to provide them with all skills necessary for research and management of endangered species and other aspects of nature protection. You can read about the program in general, past workshops (2016-2017) and upcoming
trainings.
This spring, we plan to host:
• 6-9 April we're holding a workshop on spatially explicit capture-recapture (SECR);
•
15-21 April: Anna Klevtsova will lead
a workshop on QGIS. It is a free quickly developing software for geoinformation systems. The syllabus is developed for beginners.

25-27 April: Eugenia Bragina will lead
a workshop on public speaking. We will work on how to present results to peer scientists and lay people.
•
At the end of May (exact dates will be available
soon) we will host
a workshop on population ecology: how to count animals, estimate population density, analyze population trends etc.
