WCS has seven active projects in Primorye.  These include research projects on Amur tigers, Far-eastern leopards, Brown bears, and Blakiston's fish owls.  WCS is also involved in other activities, including a campaign to improve anti-poaching effectiveness in key tiger source sites, an anti-fire program aimed to reduce leopard habitat loss, and is working with indiginous hunting groups to increase ungulate numbers by sustainable management practices.
